da cassino online: We bring you three of the biggest transfer stories to break in regards to Manchester United in the past 48 hours. There is more news on the future of Bruno Fernandes, Nicolas Pepe’s agent makes a huge claim in regards to recent reports and the Red Devils are apparently interested in Lyon’s Moussa Dembele.
Fernandes deal unlikely
Report: Bruno Fernandes has been a target for Manchester United throughout the summer, but it appears that he won’t be making the switch to Old Trafford any time soon. According to Sky Sports, the Portugal international is “unlikely” to move to the 20-time English champions, with the midfielder not being one of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s priorities at this time.
Verdict: This is slightly peculiar after all the reports that have been linking the 24-year-old to United, and questions can be asked as to why they have had a change of heart so quickly. In part, it feels as though this may be a ploy by Ed Woodward and co to try and reduce Sporting’s price tag which, according to O Jogo (via FedeNerazzurra), is €70m (£62.6m). Any potential deal could depend on whether Paul Pogba remains in Manchester beyond the current transfer window, but one can easily imagine the two of them together in what would be a mouth-watering midfield. After all, they scored a combined 48 goals from the middle of the park between them in all competitions last season (Pogba 16, Fernandes 32).

Pepe’s agent denies personal terms agreement
Report: It had been rumoured that Nicolas Pepe had agreed personal terms ahead of a move to United, but that appears to be untrue. The Ivory Coast international’s agent Samir Khiat has shared a post on his Twitter page talking about the reported agreement, accompanied with the caption “FAKE NEWS”.
Verdict: The Lille winger has been one of the most discussed players in world football during this transfer window, and for good reason. The 24-year-old scored 23 goals and provided 12 assists for Lille last season, which is well above what any of United’s current wide men were able to provide – Marcus Rashford was the closest with 20 goals contributions in total. Pepe is a menace and would bring the threat the Red Devils could do with up front, so their interest makes sense. Khiat’s post does not say that a deal isn’t possible, either. He is just commenting that there is no accord as of yet.

Dembele eyed as Lukaku replacement
Report: Should Romelu Lukaku depart Old Trafford this summer, United will try to bring in Lyon’s Moussa Dembele according to Sky Sports. The former Celtic striker scored 20 goals for the Ligue 1 club last season as they qualified for the Champions League, as well as three goals for the Bhoys before his 2018 summer switch.
Verdict: Lukaku does seem close to an exit, with Inter very eager to make him their new number nine, therefore another striker would be needed for Solskjaer. So being linked to an up-and-coming striker is no surprise. Two main questions may scupper any deal before it has even made it off the ground, however.
Firstly, what does Marcus Rashford make of all this? The England international has made it clear in the past that he prefers playing as centre-forward rather than on the wings, and Lukaku’s departure would free up a spot. Would United really displease one of their star assets by bringing in Dembele?
Secondly, will the former France U21 international be happy to play in the Europa League next season? Lyon qualified for the Champions League last campaign, which is the pinnacle of European club football, unlike the Red Devils. It could be a while before the latter reaches the elite again with the amount of competition in the Premier League and so a switch to United at this current moment would be something of a risk.
